13 weeks and still going strong.....

We had our 12 week appointment and it was a short one. We came in and they listened to the heart beat and we left. It was a little nerv racking at first. The doctor had a little hard time finding it. I was all scared like " oh where oh where has my sea monkey gone". The doc finally found it and that smile of mine came back and when she sad it's a good sting heartbeat, I was running in circles again in my head.

We have also started on the baby's room as well. We have a rug and one accessory so far, and a ceiling fan. More to come ....

So Let me break this down........

So it has been about 6 weeks now since my wife told me we were pregnant. I for one did not react the way I thought I would. I imagined myself picking her up and giving her a big hug, than run around the house screaming " I'M GONNA BE A DADDY!!! ". Well my reaction was the same as it is with everything in my life. First I was like huh in and "duh" Homer Simpson kind of way, than I was like cool, thats sweet. Not sure if my wife was disappointed at all, but inside I was running around the house screaming " I'M GONNA BE A DADDY!!! ". It took me about 5-10 mins , than the words sank it, and I asked so when can I start telling people ( like a got a new toy or something ). Now that we have had our first doctors appt. and seen the first image of our bun in the oven, it ( having a baby ) started to really sink in. I wanted to go out that day and start buying all the baby stuff right than. But wait, thats what a registry is for, so here are all the locations we have registered....just kidding, but really that will be on another post. So we are in our 10th week now of pregnancy and everyday I get more and more excited, Our due date is December 27th and I am so anxious. we have started to empty out our guest room, sorry no more room for friends, not like I really have any...thats another post sometime down the road. Back on topic here, starting to clean out room to make room for all the baby stuff. I will post pics of the rooms progress once we get the room emptied out, so stay tuned all you followers of mine.
