It's been a while

It's been a while but as you see we are having a blast. The monster is almost 18 months and keeps us on our toes. We have not had a lot of time to update our blogs or podcast, but as he gets older we will begin to jump on our side projects. I will try try try to keep you up to date but just remember I haven't forgotten about you.

2 months and still here

Well its been a little over two months now and we are still here. Little Man is getting bigger and more aware everyday. The surreal feeling I had in beginning after brining Little Man home, has not left yet. I still cant believe sometimes that we ( my Wife and I ) made that. So far being a new parent is awesome though. Watching Little Man grow so far as been Xantastic ( Xander + Fantastic ). Seeing him wake up in the morning is so funny, and watching him discover his hands to grab things is so cool. He has started to coo as if he is talking with us. Not laughing yet but getting close I feel. I do however find myself wanting him to grow up faster so that we can run around the house and outside already, but I guess I should enjoy these time right now since we will never get them back once there gone.

Well its been 4 weeks now, and all is going well. Its been an adventure thats for sure. I will have to say, all you people that tried to scare me of becoming a parent, So sorry that your experience was so bad. The only thing you were right on, was about the amount of sleep I would loose. Its all good though, The wife and I have a system and it works great. The nights are getting better, and the diapers are getting worse, but all in all, he is the sweetest thing ever.

The Prick is now a Daddy

Well its official. As of January 1st 2010, I have entered the club of Fatherhood. It was an awesome adventure being part of my sons journey into this world. I saw more than I ever thought I would, or even wanted to for that matter. But I wouldnt change it for anything. Seeing him come head first into this world, reminds me that we can do anything as long as we go head first into it. But now I have the task of being the Father that I always wanted, and not doing the things I hated done to me growing up. Would I change the way I was raised , no way. If I did I may not be whom I am today. I am thankful for that. Did I like how I was raised?, well who does? But for now "Stay thirsty my friends."
